London Youth Committee notes

The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 16th of November at 8 30pm at The Irish Tv GAA Grounds, West End Road, Ruislip, HA4 6QX and meetings will continue to be on the third Monday of every month. We would like to have representatives from all clubs around London at our Youths meetings to share views and ideas with all London clubs. We work together for the betterment of our future young Gaels.

U18 Championship Final

Parnells and Tir Chonaill Gaels/Round Towers took to the pitch at Irish Tv GAA Grounds in Ruislip last Sunday to determine who would be U18's County champions for 2015. At halt time TCG had only 3 points with Parnells with 1 goal and 11 points. A very determined TCG/Round Towers team fought back hard to even up the score. With 5 mins to go it was going to be anyone game with both teams showing great determination . When the Referee John Doyle blew the final whistle it was a draw. No extra time could be played as it was getting too dark.The final scoreline was TCG/ Round Towers 3-06 to Parnells 1-12. We now look forward to the replay next Sunday in Ruislip with time to be arranged.

This Saturday at 2pm will be the last week to try your hand at hurling in the Super Games Centre at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds, Berkeley Avenue, Greenford, London, UB6 0NZ. All children are welcome to come along and try it free of charge with all hurling equipment provided.

Year 6 Schools Tournament

London GAA are running a Year 6 Gaelic Football Tournament for Mixed teams from all of the schools which receive Gaelic Football Coaching this Thursday 22nd of October starting at 10.30am at  at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds, Berkeley Avenue, Greenford, London, UB6 0NZ. 

Dates for your diary

London Youths presentation night will be held at Irish Tv GAA Grounds in Ruislip on the Friday 20th of November with an 8.30pm start. Presentations will be made to all London GAA Underage County teams from the Under 14 London Féile Hurling and Football Teams, to the Under 16 and Under 18 Football Teams and to Player of the year for each age group. A £5 entry charge with a buffet provided on the night.
