London Youth Committee notes

The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 19th of January at 8 30pm at The Emerald GAA Grounds at Ruislip and meetings will continue to be on the third Monday of every month. We would like to have representatives present from all clubs around London at our youths meetings to share views and ideas with other clubs. We work together for the betterment of our young Gaels.
Sympathy
London Youth Committee would like to extend sincere sympathy to the family of the late Bill Treacy originally from Clongeen in Co Wexford. Bill was A former Chairman and Life President of London Co Board and was a staunch supporter of the London GAA throughout his lifetime. He will be sorely missed by his fellow Gaels.
London Youths Presentations for 2014
London Youths Committee held their Annual Presentation night on Friday the 7th of November at The Emerald GAA Grounds in Ruislip.
London Youths Chairman Tony Griffin welcomed everyone to the presentation evening at Ruislip and spoke about the importance of our future Gaels in London and said " It was great to see a few blitz and all our Underage finals played in Ruislip". A big thanks goes out to all the Committee members and coaches and mentors for all their hard work in helping to develop the Youths in London. A special thanks went out to all the referees and for the help from the London Senior Board throughout the year. London Co Board Chairman Noel O' Sullivan and Vice Chairman Tony O' Halloran were on hand to do some of the presentations to the youths. Presentations were made to all the London GAA Underage County teams from the Under 14 North and South London Féile Football teams and HurlingTeam, also the Under 16 and Under 18 Football Teams and to Player of the year for each age group. A big thanks to The Irish World Newspaper for all their kind publicity throughout the year.Thanks as always for continued support from all the parents/careers as it's truly appreciated. To finish off a wonderful evening a beautiful Buffet was enjoyed by everyone with a special thanks to Kevin Kelly all the staff at Ruislip.
