St Anthony's GAA, Reading - Special Recognition Award

St Anthony's rounded off the 50th Anniversary year last week by attending the 25th Annual Reading Sports Awards held at the Hilton Hotel in Reading. The club were nominated for the Club of the Year award and although we missed out on this, we were the receipients of a Special Recognition award which was awarded for "Sporting Prowess in Reading over 50 Years". The members of the club present were delighted to recevie the award from Sir John Madejski, Chairman of Reading FC. We are very grateful to the organisers for the award which was accepted of all members, both past and present, who have contributed over the past 50 years.
