Paul Coggins Philips Manager of the Month

Philips Ireland today, Wednesday, 10th July 2013, named Paul Coggins, Manager of London GAA, as the Philips Sports Manager of the Month for June 2013.

On June 30th London came to Dr. Hyde Park in Carrick-on-Shannon to face Leitrim in a replay of their earlier drawn encounter. London stormed into a 14-point lead at half time but put their vocal supporters through a nail-biting second half eventually clinging onto a single point win 2-11 to 1-13. This is the first time London has reached a Connaught final where they will face Mayo on the 21st July.

Coggins, a Roscommon native, became London GAA Manager in 2011 and accepted the award considering it to be "a great honour on behalf of the team."
