Last Saturday St Clarets GFC player Paddy Donaghy undertook a 100-mile charity cycle through Galway and Mayo in aid of the Josie Reddington Foundation, with the proceeds being distributed between four worthy charities: Cystic Fibrosis West, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Scleroderma Society and Our Ladys Children Hospital Crumlin.
The Tyrone native, who is never short of something to say, completed the gruelling cycle in just under six hours and was still full of talk when the race was over, reportedly saying: "When's that race in France starting, you know the big long one. I fancy a bash at that!"
