Concern Worldwide UK

Concern Worldwide UK is part of the "Enough Food For Everyone IF" campaign. The IF campaign is lobbying David Cameron in the run-up to the G8 summit in Fermanagh. We want him to keep the priorities of the world's poorest at the top of the G8 agenda. That's why Concern is looking for volunteers, helpers and people simply just to turn up and support us at this Hyde Park  event on Saturday8^th June..........It'll also be a great family day out !

On Saturday 8 June, tens of thousands of people from around the country will come to London to gather in Hyde Park to make a massive noise and demand action from the G8 on world hunger as part of the Enough Food For Everyone IF campaign. The rally promises to be a spectacular day with inspiring speakers, including Bill Gates and Rowan Williams, and with stories and music from around the world. There will also be an installation of a field of flowers, with 2 million petals representing the 2 million children that die from hunger every year.

The IF campaign needs volunteers to lend their passion, skills and support to make the Big IF London event happen. Just four hours on Friday 7 or Saturday 8 June is all that is needed -  you could be an event steward, or part of the crew helping to build our powerful flower image led by the key members of the team behind Olympic ceremonies.
