U18 Herts-London FL Report

The newly formed Western Gaels were playing against St Vincents in the Herts/London league on Wednesday evening. The game got off to a great start with Vincents settling down fast and putting the Western Gaels under pressure from the start going in at half time with a 4 point lead.
The second half started with Vincents increasing there lead but the Gaels kept their nerve and battled on in what was a tough second half with both sides missing valuable opportunities and with just minutes from the final whistle the scores were level.
After a nail biting couple of minutes and a few strong words from both sides Gaels scored in the very last kick of the game. Final score Western Gaels 1-9 St Vincents 2-5.

The game was a credit to both clubs and well done to all the players.
