April 28, 2013
The London Gaa County Board invite you to our 2013 Open Media Evening and launch of ''Club London'' the official London GAA Supporters Club'' as part of the build-up to the 2013 All Ireland Hurling & Football Championships.
The idea behind the initiative is to provide access to the main protagonists of our games, namely the players. We are inviting all Media, Journalists, Sponsors and our county team's supporters. We especially welcome our youth clubs, including our younger members and families who are traditionally enthusiastic in availing of such opportunities when they arise. This event is part of a wider plan to promote the 2013 All Ireland Championships and offers the ideal opportunity to officially launch ''Club London'' the London Gaa Supporter Club.
The London GAA Media / Club London Launch will take place in Ruislip on Friday 3rd of May between 7pm - 9.00pm. Parents are encouraged to bring along their children to meet the senior players from the London Senior Football team and the Allianz League Div 2B winning Hurling team and mentors along with our successful London U14, U16 and U18 teams.
We are encouraging people to come along for this unique opportunity to meet the players to be part of a special evening celebrating the GAA in London.
All the children and adults present will have an opportunity to get autographs and photographs taken with players and the cups, with all children entered into a FREE draw for a London Jersey.
Media and Journalists will have the opportunity to speak with players and management in anticipation of the forthcoming and historic London v Carlow Leinster Hurling Championship match and our biggest game of the year in Ruislip on Sunday 26th of May London v Sligo in the Qtr Final of the Connacht Football Championship.
