FOUNDATION FOOTBALL COURSE
There will be a Foundation Level Gaelic Football Coaching Course on Sunday, April 28th. The Courses are limited to 25 people and in the interest of fairness; we will only accept 3 nominations from each Club. The Course will be in the Emerald Grounds, Ruislip and run from 9 am until 5pm with a half an hour Lunch Break at 1 pm - lunch is provided. There will theory based work and practical work involved on the Course so coaches should bring appropriate training gear/footwear. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so please contact me ASAP if you are interested in attending.
Finally, I would urge as many of you as possible to please take up this opportunity to further your coaching education which can only benefit your Club and London GAA.

REFEREE TUTOR COURSE
A Referee Tutor Course will be held on Saturday, April 13th in Pairc na hEireann, Birmingham. The course will commence at 10.00am and lunch will be provided free of charge for all course participants. We are looking for people who are currently actively refereeing within London and who are willing to deliver courses to take part. In order to make the course a success and help us to continue to develop the structures within the county, it is imperative that at least 3 to 4 referees from London in attendance. I know from speaking to a number of people that demand is already quite high for this course in but please remain pro-active in promoting it among your clubs and referees.

The Foundation Level Hurling Courses will be run over 1 day and are open to all Club Members or anyone looking to get involved with a GAA Club. The Courses are limited to 30 people on each.

London GAA are hosting a Golf Day on Friday 26th April 2013
Venue: Hendon Golf Club Ashley Walk, Devonshire Road, Mill Hill London NW7 1DG
Time : 12.30pm, Bacon baguettes on arrival
1.00pm Shotgun Start
6.30pm 3 course meal
Playing Information:
Teams of 4 players with the best 2 scores per hole to count
The competition to be governed by Team Stableford rules
Prize's are available for 1st,2nd ,3rd & 4th , longest drive and nearest the pin.

The London Supporters Club commenced raising funds for the training and preparation of all London County Teams from January 2013
The London Supporters will be a Sub-committee of the London County Board with its own Officers and Executive committee. Training and preparation of County teams has placed a great burden on the London County Board in recent years and it is in the interest of all London supporters and indeed
the greater Irish population in London that our player's talents are given every opportunity to succeed against our fellow counties in Ireland.
Annual membership fee will be £25.00 per member and in return each member will be
entered into a draw for All Ireland Hurling or Football Final Tickets with overnight

Media Night / Club London - Launch evening
A special pre-Connacht Championship Media evening will take place on Friday 3rd of May at 7.30pm in Ruislip, the night will also mark the official launch of the new London Gaa Supporters Club - Club London. Further details will follow soon.
Youth Board News
The next meeting London Youth Board will take place on the 15th of April at Emerald GAA Grounds at Ruislip and will continue on with monthly meetings on the third Monday of each month.
The London Youth Board would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and peaceful Easter and safe travelling to all who are going away for a short break especially in these extreme weather conditions.
Gaelic Football Development Squad Blitz
The Gaelic Football Development Squad Blitz fixed for all three age groups (U-14, U-16 &18 ) on Saturday, March 30th in Pairc na hEireann, Birmingham was cancelled due to the poor recent weather, a new date has yet to be confirmed.
Gerry Sommers Memorial Cup
As it's coming up to the 1st anniversary of Gerry Sommers The Parnell's club are hosting a taster day at Kingsbury Town Football Club, Townsend Lane, Kingsbury, London NW9 7NE on the 13th of April 2013 from 3pm-10pm. This event is a fun day of football, food and great craic, in memory of Gerry. All funds raised from the tickets and raffle will go directly towards St Luke's Hospice. All family members are welcome. Tickets can be purchased on gate or from any member of Parnell's Minor GFC Committee for £5 and free entry for U15's.

The 2nd Annual All Britain Competition (ABC) 26th-28th July 2013
ABC
The 2nd Annual All Britain Competition (ABC) will be held from the 26th - 28th July 2013 in Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds in Greenford, London UB6 ONZ. The ABC is a weekend tournament of Gaelic Football, Hurling, Camogie and Ladies Gaelic Football for children and youths from U-8 up to U-18 from all across Britain. The ABC games will serve to ensure that Gaelic games and other Irish cultural events are promoted in a fun-filled, enjoyable and action packed manner, which has regard for the underlying motivational ethos of GAA Games Development - âFun Do, Can Do, We Do'.
Mouthguards
It is now compulsory for all youths to wear Mouthguards during training and during their games, so can all clubs please make sure this rule is implemented at all times.

Unfortunately due to the resent poor weather the first weekend of 2013 competitions was badly affected with only 2 games going ahead as scheduled.
It is expected that we will have a full list of fixtures in Football & Hurling Cups on the weekend of 6th & 7th of April - Full details will be confirmed by the C.C.C
Tipperary, Murphy, McArdle Cup, and U18 Fixtures and tables are available to view on the Website. Clubs should note that future fixtures on website are set as default dates with the day, time and throw in to be ratified and confirmed by the C.C.C.
