London Senior Football Team S&C Coach Vacancy

The London Senior Football Team are currently seeking a strength and conditioning coach for the 2023/2024 season. The successful candidate would be required to be available 3 evenings a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) and for a weekend session.
Job Role
- Organise and conduct testing days in liaison with the medical team to assist programming for gym and pitch work.
- Program and deliver gym sessions for in-person and remote completion. Sessions should be tailored based on the yearly calendar, testing data, injury history and the demands of the sport.
- Organise, program and deliver gym based warm ups pre pitch, in liaison with the physio, to maximise time on the pitch, work on movement quality and prime the players for the upcoming pitch session.
- Organise, program, and deliver speed sessions, developing acceleration, COD, agility and top end speed qualities.
- Organise, program and deliver conditioning sessions, in liaison with the management team, assisted by GPS data.
- Communicate with the coaches and medical team to coordinate RTP protocols, training plans and logistical issues.
- Communicate training load recommendations based off subjective ratings (RPE), GPS and heuristics to management and players to achieve the appropriate training stimulus for adaptation and recovery.
Skills required
- A professional accreditation in strength and conditioning (CSCS, UKSCA etc.)
- Experience leading S+C in a team sport, ideally Gaelic Football or Hurling.
- Experience working with GPS systems.
- Ability to produce comprehensive gym programmes (via an app etc.) for players to complete remote gym work during the week.
- Superb organisation skills to coordinate different elements to training sessions (pre pitch work and pitch work).
- Excellent communication skills, timekeeping, professionalism, and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
