London GAA: A brighter future

Strategic Plan: 2021-2024
London GAA is delighted to unveil its Strategic Plan, a document that sets the focus for the county over the next three years.
The document has already been circulated in PDF format to all club secretaries or can be viewed online here.
It was adopted at London County Convention earlier this year, with outgoing chairperson John Lacey stating in his address: "The foundation of our future success as a county is outlined in this plan and will require the continued support of all London GAA."
The plan is the result of a year's worth of consultation and input from London clubs, and concentrates on seven different areas, or streams. Each stream has specific objectives, which will help realise the ambitions of London GAA by 2024.
Current chairperson Donal Corbett has identified the Strategic Plan as vital in the growth of London GAA. He said: "The seven streams of our strategic plan were chosen by our members and thus indicates where we all believe the concentration of our association in London should be.
"The aims and ethos of the GAA and it’s games are why we are members and we see our strategic plan as a way to achieve these aims."
The working document sets out ambitious, but achievable, targets that will be the cornerstone for much of the county's work and activity over the next three years. Its timeframes and measures will be reviewed regularly, and as such, it is a flexible plan that can be adapted as required.
London GAA thanks Adrian Hassett (Operations Manager of Connacht GAA) for his guidance and advice during the process, our own Finance and Operations Manager Stephen Lohan for his hard work in overseeing the project, and each stream leader and members for their efforts.
