Voting Procedure for Clubs
Roles and Responsibilities Explained
Club Secretary
1. Receive by email from the County Secretary the ballot papers, club declaration form and delegate declaration forms.
2. Forward to each delegate either by email or in person a ballot paper for each position and a delegate declaration form.
3. Receive back from each delegate a sealed envelope (it is the delegate’s responsibility to ensure the contents are correctly assembled).
4. Place the sealed envelopes received back from delegates into a large envelope along with the duly completed club declaration form.
5. Return the large envelope with all its contents to Stephen Lohan (Returning Officer) by hand or by courier or by recorded delivery to London GAA, McGovern Park, West end Road, South Ruislip. London HA46QX.
Club Delegate
1. Receive from the Club Secretary a ballot paper for each position together with a delegate declaration form.
2. Complete the first ballot paper and place it in its own small envelope marking the envelope on the front with the name of the position it is for. Seal the small envelope.
3. Repeat step 2 for each of the other ballot papers. If you are recording a vote for every position, you will now have 10 sealed envelopes, one for each position.
4. Bundle up the envelopes and place them all into a medium sized envelope together with your duly completed delegate declaration form.
5. Seal the envelope and return it to your club secretary.
