Parnells Club Notes 25th Feb

The winter training sessions are all in full flow with everyone really enjoying preparing for the new season.  From Seniors to U6’s-everyone is ‘kicking a ball’.  New faces still welcome as its early days yet.  Please contact any of the following if you would like to get involved. Parnells are delighted to announce that we will be taking part as a ‘walking group’ in this year’s St Patrick’s Parade in London on the 18^th March.  This is a first for the club and it will be a fantastic opportunity for children and parents to enjoy the atmosphere of a great event.  Please contact Veronica Bailey if interested (07768 635534).

Diary Dates:  The Dinner Dance date is now taking place on the 14^th April 2018 at The Claddagh Ring.  Tickets still available, if you would like to attend, contact Tony Griffin on 07966 160999 or Veronica Bailey on 07768 635534.  The Youth’s U12/13 ‘Trip to Tipp’ is all set to go.  Flights booked and the exciting and packed itinerary in place which will be available soon.  

The club would like to extend their condolences to Veronica Bailey and family on the sad loss of her aunt Mary Delaney (aged 83) who originally hailed from Coolkenna, Co Wicklow.  She spent a large part of her life in Kingsbury and then Palmers Green.  She is survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers with one, Tom McAsey, living here who is an active member of the Wicklow Association.  May she rest in peace.

Parnells would like to congratulate Joel McInern on his appointment as Youth Chairman.  We wish him well for the forthcoming season.
