The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 17th of July at 8 30pm at McGovern Park GAA Grounds, West End Road, Ruislip, HA4 6QX
Sympathies
London Youths Committee would like to offer sincere sympathy to the families of Mary Kane (Dulwich Harps) and Mary Callaghan (St Clarets) Paddy Kilkenny (Tara & Kilburn Gaels). May their gentle souls Rest In Peace.
U14 Féile in Fermanagh/Monaghan/Cavan
Congratulations to South London boys team who have victorious in winning the John West Péile na nÓg Div 2 All- Ireland Cup for the 5th year. Well done boys another great achievement.Final scoreline for the final was South London 2-08 to St Gabriels 3-03.
North London boys team topped their group and were sadly beaten by one point after extra time in the Quarter finals to end their journey. A great weekend was had by all.
The London U14 Féile Girls team won the John West Péile na nÓg Div 6 All- Ireland Shield. 20 girls from 5 London clubs along with 5 mentors and parents were met with fantastic hospitality by The Shannon Gaels Club in Blacklion, Co Cavan. After all the hard work and efforts the girls reached the final to play St. John Bosco defeating them in a great game of football with a convincing 2 point win London 1-3 to St. John Bosco 0-4.
A big thanks to all the three London teams who travelled over to Ireland for the Féile and to all the mentors and parents for all their hard work and support. The boys and girls all played so well and done London proud and are certainly a credit to their families. A massive thanks to all the hosting clubs in Ireland who were fantastic and went way and beyond their means in making everyone feel welcome
NLS Football Blitz
North London Shamrock were hosts to their Annual fun day Blitz last Saturday at Tottenhall Recreation Grounds. Well done to all the clubs who participated in the U6/8/10 and U12 age groups for boys and girls. The children really enjoyed the day implementing some great skills in their games. Thanks to all who worked so hard in making the event such a success. Thanks to all at NLS and as usual the parents for their continued support.

The London GAA U-16 and U-18 Development Squads
The London GAA U-16 and U-18 Development Squads will be taking part in the Provincial Championships in the coming weeks. The U-16's will play Hertfordshire in Glen Rovers GAA Club, Watford (WD24 4LH) on Wednesday, June 28th at 7.30pm and The U-18's will play Hertfordshire in Glen Rovers GAA Club on Saturday, July 1st at 1pm. Training will continue in Greenford on Monday, June 26th at 7.00 pm.
U12 Conrad Ryan Tournament
Parnells will be hosts to the U12 Conrad Ryan Tournament this Saturday July 1st at Northwick Park. Registrations at 10.30am followed by games. There will be three trophies to be played for-Conrad Ryan Cup, Norah Togher Plate and Gerry Somers Shield. All clubs are invited to participate in this tournament.
Saint Anthony's Tournament
Saint Anthony's Reading are hosting a tournament for the U8's and U10's this Sunday 2nd July at King's Meadow Napier Road Reading RG1 8DF. Registration from 11:30am to 12pm followed by games. Best of luck to all clubs who are participating.
London Youths Exhibition Match- Croke Park 30th July
London Youth GAA will play an exhibition match at half time during the second double header of the All Ireland Championship Quarter Finals in Croke Park on 30th July 2017 i.e Munster Championships v 4A Winner..Please may we have nominations from each London Youth GAA Club for two U13 players who wishes to participate in this event. Players must be U13 and not turn 14 before 1st January 2018, and be registered on the Croke Park system; proof of d.o.b will be required. aLL.nominations be returned to us no later than 30th June

Hurling Games Centre
London GAA will be hosting a Hurling Games Centre in Goodmayes (IG3 8XJ) on Saturday, July 15th at 10.30 a.m for U6-16's FREE OF CHARGE. The Hurling Games Centre will provide every child in London and beyond, regardless of whether they are club affiliated or not, the opportunity to take up hurling and play it an enjoyable and safe environment.
