The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 20th of March at 8 30pm at Irish Tv GAA Grounds, West End Road, Ruislip, HA4 6QX
U-17 Gaelic Football Development Tournament
London GAA launched an 11 a side U-17 Gaelic Football Development Tournament last Saturday with a panel which consisted of 16 players. The tournament will continue with matches played every Saturday night under floodlights in Greenford (UB6 0NZ) and St.Paul's Academy (SE2 9PX).The London GAA U-17 Development Squad Management will be in attendance each week so that this year's Development Squad will be selected after the Tournament has been completed. Thanks to all the clubs for your co-operation
Hurling Super Games Centre
London GAA hosted the Hurling Super Games Centre at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds, Greenford last Saturday where 55 children participated. The Super Games Centre will continue for 5 weeks every Saturday from 1pm-2pm free of charge and provide children both boys and girls from U6 - U18 in London and beyond, regardless of whether they are club affiliated or not, the opportunity to take up hurling and play it in an enjoyable and safe environment. The Super Games Centre will help drum up interest in the game and encourage a whole new generation to enjoy our native sport! A big thanks to all the coaches, Lloyd Colfer CDA, Chairman Tony Griffin and any London Youths committee involved and also to the parents for their continued support.
Gaelic Football Coaching Course
London GAA will continue with the Level One Gaelic Football Coaching Course over 3 more Saturdays March 11th, April 8th and 22nd - all of which will be in the Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds, Greenford. Contact Lloyd Colfer CDA on 078 72600073
Safeguarding Courses
London GAA run a Safeguarding Course last Wednesday in The Claddagh Ring in Hendon. Thanks to the tutor Jason Rooney from Yorkshire who done a fantastic job and also thanks to Lloyd Colfer CDA. Thanks to Finbar and staff at The Claddagh Ring who looked after everyone on the course.
Affiliation Fees
Can all clubs please ensure that affiliation fees are paid. £20 per club and £10 per team Pay it directly to London Senior Secretary mark.gottsche.gm.london@gaa.ie and please send copy of receipt to Finance Officer Conor McGreevy conormcgreevy2004@hotmail.com
Seat Plaque in Ruislip
