The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 20th of March at 8 30pm at Irish Tv GAA Grounds, West End Road, Ruislip, HA4 6QX
U-17 Gaelic Football Development Tournament
London GAA will be launching an 11 a side and a panel will consist of 16 players in an U-17 Gaelic Football Development Tournament starting on Saturday the 25th of February. The matches will be played every Saturday night under floodlights in Greenford (UB6 0NZ) and St.Paul's Academy (SE2 9PX).Matches as a vital part of their player development & a great opportunity for the young players to play the game in a competitive environment so we would encourage all Clubs to participate.The London GAA U-17 Development Squad Management will be in attendance each week at the matches and this year's Development Squad will be selected after the Tournament has been completed. Thanks to all the clubs for your co-operation
Affiliation Fees
Can all clubs please ensure that affiliation fees are paid. £20 per club and £10 per team Pay it directly to London Senior Secretary mark.gottsche.gm.london@gaa.ie and please send copy of receipt to Finance Officer Conor McGreevy conormcgreevy2004@hotmail.com
Hurling Super Games Centre
London GAA will be re-launching the Hurling Super Games Centre at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds in Greenford next Saturday February 25th at 1pm. The Super Games Centre will continue every week at the same time for 5 weeks and provide every child in London and beyond, regardless of whether they are club affiliated or not, the opportunity to take up hurling and play it an enjoyable and safe environment. All boys and girls from 6 - 18 years old can participate with equipment provided. There will be NO CHARGE to participants, so all the children have to do is show up and play the game. All are welcome and we intend to advertise this within the clubs and schools and also to promote it through the various social media outlets but please pass on the information to anyone that you think may be interested. Our intention is for the Super Games Centre to drum up interest in the game and encourage a whole new generation to enjoy our native sport! Gaelic Football Coaching Course
London GAA run a Level One Gaelic Football Coaching Course starting last Saturday and continuing on March 11th, April 8th and 22nd at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds, Greenford. Thanks to all who are taking part and the facilators London Football Manager Ciaran Deely and to CDA Lloyd Colfer. Thanks to Tir Chonaill Gaels for the use of their grounds.
Safeguarding Courses
London GAA are running a Safeguarding Course next Wednesday, February 22nd from 7pm. - 10pm in The Claddagh Ring in Hendon. Contact Lloyd Colfer CDA on 078 72600073 .
Seat Plaque in Ruislip
