Hurling Super Games Centre
London GAA will be re-launching the Hurling Super Games Centre at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds in Greenford on Saturday, February 25th at 2pm. The Super Games Centre will continue every week at the same time for 5 weeks and provide every child in London and beyond, regardless of whether they are club affiliated or not, the opportunity to take up hurling and play it an enjoyable and safe environment. All boys and girls from 6 - 18 years old can participate with equipment provided. There will be NO CHARGE to participants, so all the children have to do is show up and play the game. All are welcome and we intend to advertise this within the clubs and schools and also to promote it through the various social media outlets but please pass on the information to anyone that you think may be interested. Our intention is for the Super Games Centre to drum up interest in the game and encourage a whole new generation to enjoy our native sport!

London GAA are organising another Safeguarding Course for all of our youth coaches/mentors/administrators involved with London GAA. The Course is on Saturday, February 11th which will run from 9.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. in Tottenhall Sports Ground (N13). Under the new guidelines from the Provincial Council of Britain GAA, anyone involved with teams that have players under the age of 18 must be DBS certified, complete a Coaching Course and also, a Safeguarding Course so it is imperative that we get as many people as possible to attend these Courses over the coming weeks and months before the season starts as there will be a zero tolerance policy on this from the London County Board and the Provincial Council going forward.
