Congratulations to our senior team who overturned a 3 point deficit at half time after an improved second half to record a 2-10 to 0-9 win over Ãire Og yesterday to qualify for the championship semi finals. This means the winner of our final group game in 2 weeks against Dulwich Harps will decide who tops the group.
One of the highlights of the day was Liam Healy tumbling over the mound behind the goal whilst awarding a score. He said he got an 8 for the execution but there's a reason he hasn't gone to Rio.
The team was: Keith O'Neill, Matthew Healy, Paddy Donaghy, Luke Kelly, Aidan Bradshaw, Padraig Donegan, Ronan Gaughan, Aidan Donaghy, Matt Killeen, Pat Lynott, John O'Connor, Eamonn Colleran, Alfie McNulty, Shane Buckley, Lawrence Weir.
Subs: Lyndon Bradley, Barry Lynch
The seniors next fixture will be a Division 2 league game against Cú Chulainns. This takes place 2.30pm Sunday 14th August at TCG in Greenford. Berkeley Avenue, Greenford, UB6 0NZ
