Irish TV to broadcast LIVE TV show from Ruislip ahead of Mayo championship opener
IRISH TV is to broadcast a special 2 hour LIVE TV show from the home of London GAA on the eve of the mouth-watering clash between Mayo and London in the Connacht GAA Championship. âLondon Liveâ will be broadcast from the IRISH TV Grounds in Ruislip on Saturday evening, May 28th from 8-10pm and will feature a host of celebrity guests from the sporting, cultural, business and entertainment world.
Presented by Irish TV London correspondent Ian McDonnell and Irish TV GAA reporter Brendan Hennessey, the show will feature insightful and engaging debate and discussion ahead of the Connacht championship opener as well as some special features on Mayo and London supporters that are making the trip to London for the big match.
âThe match is a complete sell out, it is harder to get a ticket for the Irish TV Grounds in Ruislip at present than the All-Ireland football final,â commented Ian McDonnell this week. âThere are so many links and ties between Mayo and London and everyone wants to be part of this great celebration of football on May 29th,â he said.
GAA fans everywhere can soak up the atmosphere, excitement and build up ahead of the big game on Irish TV on Saturday evening next. The live broadcast from the Irish TV Grounds on May 28th will comprise a mix of music and chat with updates from both managers and key players. Irish TV will also be capturing the commitment of the London players who have to travel for hours to attend training every week and then get trains, planes and buses to partake in games in Ireland.
The special LIVE broadcast ahead of the Mayo match from 8-10pm on IRISH TV on May 28th will feature expert analysis, debate and lively discussion from former GAA legends as well as some of the best live entertainment that can be found in London.
Irish TV is inviting all GAA supporters in London and those travelling over for the match from Mayo to join in the fun and celebration at the Irish TV Grounds in Ruislip on the Saturday night before the game.
