Thomas McCurtain's Hurling and Football Club Notes
May 09, 2016
Thomas McCurtains GAA Club Notes.
The club would like to congratulate Catherine Barrett and Kellie Carr who helped London to a remarkable victory over Warwickshire in the British League. It is a great achievement for the club and it is great to see East London represented on the county team.
It was wins all around as the Hurlers, Footballers and Camogs got the better of their opposition last weekend. The hurlers made it look easy in the end as they overcame Kilburn Gaels B team to qualify for the Semi-Finals of the Ronan Cup. While the footballers came out on top in a heated league fixture against Dulwich Harps. The Camogs continued their success as they won both their matches in the third round of the British League
The fixtures are coming thick and fast in Goodmayes this weekend. On Saturday the Camogs will host the fourth round of the British league in the morning and the Footballers continue the league against Crawley & Brighton Gaels. Then on Sunday the Hurlers start their league campaign against Brothers Pearse.
