Murphy Cup:
Harlesden Harps will play the semi-final of the Murphy Cup this Saturday 09th of April against Cuchulainns. Throw in for the game is at 5:15pm, with extra time being played if needed. Hopefully the winning momentum will be kept up, with the added carrot of a final place at stake. In order to have a proper warm up and preperation, aim to get to Ruislip in plenty of time.
Previous Match:
Harlesden Harps continued their Murphy Cup campaign with a comprehensive 2-10 0-02 win over Moindearg in Wormwood Scrubs last Saturday. The Harps proved far too strong for their opponents in all sectors of the field with some excellent football being played at times and some fine score taking on show. Letâs hope the Harps keep this winning form going for their next game, the semi-final, against Cuchulainns (see above).
Training:
For current players training continues every Thursday at 7:45pm in The Shamrock Club, 307A Horn Lane, Acton, W3 0BP (nearest tube station: North Acton on the Central Line). New players are always welcome to this well run club which if needed can offer jobs, accommodation and a social life to their members. Transport to and from training and pick up from local stations can also be arranged. Any new players wishing to "play a bit a ball" are very welcome to come along.
