Dulwich Harps GFC Club Notes

MEN’S FOOTBALL
The Men’s team played their first game in the McArdle Cup against St.Clarets last Saturday afternoon in Goodmayes. Whilst there were many positives on the day, St. Clarets pulled away at the end and won by four points, 1-9 to 0-8. Next game scheduled for weekend of 19-20 March.
Training continues at the Island Garden Sports Trust complex on Wednesdays evenings at 7 p.m. sharp. New players are welcome. The astro-turf facilities are located across the road from the Island Gardens DLR station.

LADIES FOOTBALL
Congratulations to Ciara O’Sullivan, Ursula Murphy, Catrina O’Regan and Maeve Wylie who represented the London Ladies in recording a comprehensive win against Scotland in the first round of the newly established British League.
Training is taking place on Thursday evenings at Prendergast Ladywell Fields College, SE4 1SA at 7:30 p.m. sharp. For further information, please contact Sharon Hughes via Dulwichharpsladies@gmail.com.
CLUB SOCIAL
The first club social event takes place this coming Friday, 11th March at the Alex in Clapham. It is a “House Party†themed event so we hope to have friends, old and new, in attendance.
CLUB MEETING
The monthly club meeting is scheduled to take place in The White Horse, Peckham on Monday 14th April at 7:30 sharp. A number of items regarding the upcoming season are to be actioned so we would appreciate all club members to be in attendance.
