Feile glory for London's boys and girls02-07-2018

North and South London Under-14 boys as well as London's girls returned from their Féile Peile Na NÓg 2018 odysseys in counties Down, Louth and Meath with silverware after a massively successful weekend.

South London's boys impressively retained their Division 2 title after emerging victorious from their Group A which included Portlaoise, Warrenpoint's Cumann Pheadair Naofa and fellow County Down club Mayobridge.

They then beat another Down club in Bredagh in the first quarter-final in Kilcoo before emerging victorious from their semi-final against Mayo's Westport and accounting for Saint Patricks GAA Club, Donabate, Dublin in the final in Mayobridge.

North London's boys also won their opening three Group C games in Division 4 in Summerhill, County Meath, beating the hosts, their Royal county rivals Dunderry and then Fermanagh's Kinawley Brian Borus.

The north Londoners saw off St Marys, Sligo in the quarters, Killoe Og of Longford in a tricky semi-final clash and Carlow's Eire Og in the final to claim the cup competition.

Meanwhile London's girls, after a slow start, saw off Offaly's St Manchans in the Division 6 Shield's last-eight, Louth's Mattock Rangers in the last-four and Ballymartin of Down in Ardee to wrap up the Exiles' title trawl.
